WAMPTOBERFEST
TENNESSEE BREW WORKS PRESENTS:
WAMPTOBERFEST 2026
Tennessee Brew Works and Wampler’s Farm Sausage have teamed-up to present the First Annual “Wamptoberfest”, an Oktoberfest celebration, at the Lenoir City Barrel House, 200 East Depot Street, Lenoir City. Wamptobefest will take place Saturday, September 19, 2026, notably the first day of Germany’s Oktoberfest, from 11am-10pm.
The Wamptoberfest celebration is free to attend; reservations are highly recommended for larger groups (reservations will open approximately 2 weeks before the event). The day will feature the polka band, Polkswagon, from 12-3pm, followed by Ayca & The Sasquatch’s acoustic set from 3:30-6:30pm, and local musician Cole Sitzler taking the stage from 7-9pm.
Volunteer fans: never fear, the game will be on the TVs.
The brewery will be featuring their Oktoberfest beer along with limited Wamptoberfest branded beer steins, while supplies last. Brewed once a year, this German-style Märzen is a sessionable welcome to the fall here in Tennessee. It imparts rich malt, bready and biscuit characteristics with light toasted notes on finish. The hop bitterness is clean and soft.
The Wamptoberfest celebration is also a qualifying venue partner for the 2026 Steinholding State Championship, which will later be held in Knoxville.
Executive Chef Alex Leibow is teaming up with the good folks at Wampler’s Farm Fresh Sausage to craft a special beer-basted bratwurst, alongside classic German favorites like Spätzle, schnitzel, braised cabbage, and more—all perfectly paired with our German-style Märzen and other libations.
"We're thrilled to partner with Tennessee Brew Works for the inaugural Wamptoberfest. Bringing their craftsmanship for beer together with our great sausage for a true German-style celebration—beer brats and beyond—is exactly the kind of community event we love being part of," said Ted Wampler, Jr., President & CEO, Wampler's Farm Sausage. "We're proud to bring four generations of sausage-making craft to this first-ever event, and we can't wait to see it become an annual tradition.”
We will start offering large group reservations prior to the event. Walk-ups are welcome, first-come, first-serve.
